Groups between 25 and 35, schedule a Beer Dinner for entertaining...
An “evening out”, beer dinners are designed to illustrate the wonderful marriage of fine cuisine and beer. Brews are served in wine glass flights. Dinner will be a non-smoking event, until cigars are delivered after the last course. Ask to discuss our selection of beer dinners previously enjoyed by guests of these special monthly events. HERE ARE A FEW HINTS: Beer dinners are a theme driven, five course meal. Reviews of past dinners have been highly favorable, and make for a great method of entertaining, whether it be a friendly gathering or business function.

1. MINORS AT ALL GATHERINGS IN THE UPSTAIRS PUB MAY ONLY BE PRESENT WHILE FOOD IS BEING SERVED. WHEN FOOD SERVICE IS DONE, ALL MINORS MUST GO DOWNSTAIRS. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
2. THE UPSTAIRS PUB IS NOT A “RESERVABLE SPACE” - I.E. BOOKING A PARTY DOES NOT CARRY THE OPTION OF A “PRIVATE
ROOM”.
3. ALL PARTIES WILL HAVE 7.0% ILLINOIS SALES TAX, 1% CITY FOOD & BEVERAGE TAX AND 17% GRATUITY ADDED TO THE BILL.
4. A BAR TAB MAY BE RUN FOR YOUR GATHERING, BUT MUST BE CLOSED BY 2:30 AM BEFORE THE CLOSE OF THE BUSINESS DAY.
17% GRATUITY WILL BE ADDED TO ALL BAR TABS FOR LARGE GATHERINGS (OVER 6 PEOPLE, JUST AS IN THE DINING ROOM).
5. AT THE TIME A PARTY IS ORDERED, A 50% DEPOSIT OF THE TOTAL BILL IS REQUIRED.

GATHERINGS IN THE UPSTAIRS PUB. THE BLUE CAT OFFERS PLATE SERVICE FROM THE MENU IN THE DINING ROOM ONLY, NOT IN
THE UPSTAIRS PUB.
